Los Favoritos in Apache Junction

We had the Los Favoritos nachos, a quesadilla, rolled tacos, and shrimp cocktail. All were very delicious.

I got a Cali Burro and rolled tacos. Nothing to write home about. Burro was small for the price and rolled tacos seemed like they came from frozen isle at Wal-Mart. Place looks like a shack from the outside and inside. Would be interesting to see health ratings.... The floor moves as people shuffle about in the cramped inside. Service was poor. I felt like I was inconveniencing the cashier by wanting to place an order. I think 6 words were said to me the whole time I was there and none of them where thank you. The Jamica was odd also. I won't be back. Much better place just down the street... save your $$.. people that reviewed this as best Mexican they have had must be insane or snow birds with no taste for real Mexican food.

To start they completely messed up our order. We ordered a taco salad no onion and two cheese enchiladas no onion. When we received the food they gave us nachos with onions and the enchiladas were bland and just gross. Will not be eating there again.

First time there. Was after some tacos. The wife had the carne asada fries, and I had the carne asada tacos. I ordered 4, but got two, which actually ended up being a better choice. These tacos were larger than the standard "street" tacos. It was all good as I was only charged for 2. We've been eating a lot of tacos recently at other establishments, and so far the pork tacos have been better than the steak. The carne asada at this place was really good. Will definitely go back there when we want tacos again!

Los favs is my goto and specifically this location! Great people and the food is amazing!!

I am very happy with the portions and pricing. The food taste great and they are very clean. Everyone from behind the counter is very personable and they are always smiling, laughing and joking around. Food made with love is always better. I love Los Favoritos

11 years and counting. Great workers and excellent food. Their Flying Saucer is awesome and a great deal. It is a lot to eat.

My favorite place to get fast mexican food. I can always expect consistent quality.

Initially thought about giving only four stars, as it's rare that someone is perfect, but was too hard to find flaws in my first experience dining here. Portions were good sized and meal was very tasty. Also liked some of the little things that led to a better than expected experience, like using three compartment containers. Many "Filiberto's" style restaurants use containers with no dividers which often leaves my favorite, hard-shelled chicken tacos, soggy by the time I get home due to co-mingling with the other food. Will choose them next time over slightly closer Mexican restaurants.

Real nice food and real nice people. A great shack style taco place in a small city. The menu has pretty good variety, so come here a few times to get a good read on it.

Food is good but a bit dry, I needed to ask for salsa, shame on me. Would I recommend it?? You bet your sweet bippy I would.

Excellent carnitas burrito!

Really good food. Had the rolled tacos with guacamole. Hubby had shredded beef tacos. Definitely going back again.

Spent $10 on a steak breakfast burrito. NO FLAVOR. Asked to remove the potatoes, add an egg for $1 and refried beans for $0.65. How can there be 0 flavor?!!!

Living in Arizona, there are so many Mexican restaurants to choose from, but if you are out and about, try this small place a try. The food is very authentic and consistent , fair prices, quick service, it's not a sit down place for large groups, very small inside more of a fast food, take out place. It could be cleaner inside but we have never had a bad meal. The homemade salsa is one of the best we've had, the refried beans are very creamy. There is a lot of traffic especially during the lunch hour which vouches how good the food is. This small place is definitely worth a try and i highly recommend, we keep going back.

Used to love this place. I don't know when things changed but it's a 50/50 when I go now. It's either tasty,fresh and generous portions or it's dry, overly salty and low on ingredients in the burrito. A couple times I spent 7+ bucks for a burrito but it was mostly tortilla... I've also witnessed the soap dispenser in the restroom to be out of soap multiple times, kinda gross.

Great Carne Asada Fries!!

The food should have 5 stars, but the dinning area made it less. Good place for when you're working or take out, but I wouldn't bring people there for a meal.

Small little shop service was good but the food was not fresh ordered a sausage breakfast burrito and it was crunchy inside like the meat had been sitting on the stove

It's really fresh & authentic. The jumbo burrito is really good, unfortunately it went up in price.

Drive almost 40 minutes to this tucked away treasure. Good food-fast, polite staff...just wish they had more seats! Well worth the stand and wait though.

Decent food but not my favorite Los favorites by any means. It's hit or miss really. Food can be bland with watered down salsas half the time. Staff are very friendly though!

This was my first time eating here and I got the carne asada torta & taco great flavor the carne was cut small 😘 the taco dadd way bigger then I expected... Good by Filiberto's lol

Always good food, never disappointed

Ok so the food is good. The custumer service need lots of help and the food preparation. Order carne asada burrito with rice beans and Cheese. And i got a soggy loose burrito. I wasnt able to eat it properly anymore it was completely messy. Now back to the service. The guy taking orders thinks he works at a five star Michelin restaurant. He need to tone it down. And remember that he has a job because we give the place business. Needs a total attitude chane. At lease say hello and thank you for coming.

Food was ready fast. Tacos were super crunchy with chunks of shredded beef. My only complaint was that the beef could've been shredded a bit more to make it easier to eat. The cheese enchilada was very good too. There taco sauce waa delicious but also VERY spicy hot. I mixed it with some mild i had at home and it was perfect for my taste. Ill ask if they have a mild sauce next time i go, because i will definitely go back.

Ordered Carne Asada with corn tortillas, received flour tortillas and rancid pork. Sadly the place is also dirty and the health department should visit 😒 I'll avoid it in the future!!

We just went there and my wife asked them to not put onions on my tacos. They even repeated it back. And I received more onions then meat on my tacos. I am allergic to onions so it’s very disappointing. The shells broke worse then the nacho shell. They even over charging us on our card. thankfully my wife caught it and got our money back. Not impressed and will never return.

Ordered from here for the first time today. The reason why I gave 3 stars is because first I called and no answer. Then he answers and puts me in hold (understand if your busy). I ordered the 12 taco rolls and the California burrito. 10 min later when I go to pick up, no customers, so not sure why they couldn't answer the phone. Apparently the prices on the online menu are outdated because when I paid it was double of what the price list stated. Food was okay. Tacos were a bit dry, burrito was good.

Lazy staff. I needed to place an order for my Postmates customer. It was only 8:30 pm on a Friday 4/24, so I tried to call ahead and place the order. Called 3x and no answer. I arrived at 8:50pm and the Staff was just standing there talking and said they were closed. Go to Los Favoritos on Elliot and 202. Night staff there is awesome.

minutes agoReally gets old when they never want to answer the phones just because they are with in an hour or closing. Tonight they answered the phone and put it on mute. Called back and they left the phone on so we got a busy dial tone. Also been a couple incidents where they closed earlier then business hours. 9f you don't like to cook and serve food then don't do it

Large portions, good flavor, reasonable prices. Limited seating inside, sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Our favorite authentic Mexican food in Apache.

DO NOT ORDER VIA UBER EATS OR DOOR DASH ETC. I dont know if they cant understand written english or just dont care because they dont have to deal with the customer. Multiple times I have orders carne asada fries which comes with guacamole, pico, sour cream and cheese and what was delivered was fries and beef nothing else. Ordered the fries tonight and also super nachos. The fries were actually right for once but instead of nachos got the most onion filled enchilada I've ever seen.

Great food! I've found it's best to go in to order because they've gotten the order wrong two different occasions when ordering by phone. When ordering the chicken chimichanga by phone I ended up at home with a beef chimichanga twice.

We stopped in after a hike in the Usery Mountains. The place is very small and we were so unsure about it. My friend and I were pretty hungry, but that should not take away from home good the food was. Everything tasted fresh and both of us walked away very impressed that such an unassuming place was really that good. I will definitely be back.

Here's a taco ordered with no lettuce.Supposedly there's carne asada fries under all that sour cream.Wish they had a menu that explained all the junk they were going to put on what should be a simple meal.Don't bother calling to order, they don't start cooking your food until you get there and still manage to get it wrong.First and last visit. I'd rather eat taco bell.

I always go for the steak breakfast burrito and it's consistently great. Tender, minced steak with potatoes and beans. Tiny location but big on flavor!

Love the food but wish the space was bigger so I could dine inside in comfort.
